Later in 1996 Eva married an American actor John Callahan who played the role of Edmund Grey, her on-screen husband in "All My Children". They together have a daughter named Kaya McKenna Callahan. After eight years of married life the couple took divorce in 2005.

Eva has a sister named Nikka La Rue, a brother named Luis LaRue and a younger half-sister named Lara LaRue.
