Eva La Rue is an excellent American actress. She has been performing several roles in movies and television sitcoms for about fifteen years since 1987.
At the age of six, LaRue appeared in TV commercials singing jingles. Later she became a teenage beauty queen and was crowned Danfranc Productions' Miss California Empire in 1984 in a beauty pageant held in Irvine, California, USA.
In 1987, Eva made her debut both in movies with "The Barbarians" and in a television drama with a guest appearance in "Rags to Riches". In 1988 she performed in her first made-for-television film "Desert Rats".
She has acted in many movies such as "Heart Condition" [1990], "RoboCop 3" [1993], "Little Pieces" [2000], "Lakeview Terrace" [2008] and others.
Eva La Rue has appeared in a number of single episodic television dramas like "Charles in Charge" [1989], "Married with Children" [1990] "They Came from Outer Space" [1991], "Nurses" [1993] and many others.
Eva has performed in several made-for-television movies like "A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes: The Annette Funicello Story" [1995], "Remembrance" [1996], "Out of Nowhere" [1997], "Ice" [1998], "Cries in the Dark" [2006] and other television movies.
In 1993, Eva starred as Dr. Maria Santos Grey in a long-running television series "All My Children" [89 episodes: 1993-2007] alongside Hollywood actor John Callahan. Her fabulous performance in this television series brought her huge fame.
Eva La Rue moved away from the series "All My Children" in 1997 to take up new challenges in her career.
Eva performed a guest role in "Diagnosis Murder" [1998] and a recurring role in the television drama "Third Watch" [9 episodes: 2000-2001].
In 2002 she again returned to perform her original role of Dr. Maria Santos Grey in "All My Children".
